When I pulled into Iriswoods, I felt like I had been transported to a secluded Southern paradise – how in the world had this been in my backyard and I’d never shot a wedding there?! This venue was a perfect choice and that was just the beginning of how beautifully planned this day was. Josh and Kirsten chose a small wedding party which made for an easy going schedule and intimate laughs. (I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say that they’d wished they would have had a bigger wedding party, just an FYI for future brides!) They wrote letters to each other that were read during the ceremony and let me tell you, I laughed almost the entire time they were read. Josh was up until late in the night the night before and he let everyone know that he was feeling it the next day. The food was delicious (shout out to Josh’s mom who made the favors – the best butter cookies under the sun) and they even had Josh wine. How precious is that? And one of my favorite additions was Kirsten’s family – we had legit Danes present all day. It was incredible. I loved every moment of this day and I know they did too. I hope you enjoy these photos and are able to relive some of the fun that everyone had!
