“No marriage is all sunshine, but two people can share an umbrella and survive the storm.” – Unknown
The first thought I had on the day of Julie and Trevor’s wedding was “is it raining?” I jumped out of bed and my heart sank. It was pouring. “Surely it will let up,” I thought. Nope. It didn’t let up that day until the reception and that was only for a few moments. I don’t know how many times I heard people tell Julie that it was good luck to rain on her wedding day. She nodded each time, and maybe rolled her eyes a few. After all, this wasn’t what was in her plan—a plan meticulously crafted over such a long period of time. It broke my heart to see. She was such a trooper through all of the photos but you could tell that there was a literal cloud that hung over her.
But y’all, that cloud lifted the moment she grabbed her dad’s arm and saw her future husband waiting for her at the end of her isle. Those two turned a rough situation into something so much fun and it was our honor to document this beautiful, happy day!
